Unapologetically Loud About Love
Song Review: People Watching by Taylor Acorn
CONTIBUTING AUTHOR Lyana
Pop-punk princess Taylor Acorn relishes in affinity with her new single “People Watching.” This track is one for the “summer-love” books, accepting change and viewing love in a positive light.
The song starts with subtle guitar strums, putting Acorn’s voice at the forefront for the first verse and chorus. As the accompaniment of drums crescendo through the second verse and chorus, the acoustic arrangement transitions to a more lively pop-rock sound—perhaps symbolic of the song’s message: a growing confidence in the relationship and believing one is deserving of such fondness.
The music video features a heartfelt project involving Acorn’s fans, a video montage of love all around: romantic, platonic, and familial (even including house pets). Of course, the project itself highlights her love for her fans, and their love for her.
“People Watching” is a single off Taylor Acorn’s upcoming album, “Survival In Motion,” set to release on September 13th, apace with “Greener,” “Survival In Motion,” and “High Horse.” This feel-good tune is a celebration of affection and adoration for those held close to one’s hearts. Fearlessly having said heart on their sleeve, for life’s too short to not love out loud.
